As a lending institution, wouldn’t it be great if you could engage with your most important stakeholders – the borrowers and the investors via SMS or  E-Mail? We, at Cloud Lending Inc. are excited to announce the release of “Notifications” – the new feature for Lending Core, our next generation enterprise lending solution and  MFIFlex, our core banking solution. The new feature benefits the borrowers,  lenders and investors in one go!

Here’s how we do it:

With “Notifications”, you can now set SMS and E-mail notifications for the following events:

  1. Loan payment reminder before due
  2. Loan payment reminder after due
  3. Investor fund deposited and
  4. Investor fund withdrawal

When any of the loans satisfy the before due or after due condition, the notifications will be sent.

Cloud Lending Inc. offers the convenience of staying up-to-date with payment information using powerful communication supported by Twilio.

Connect with your customers

With Notifications, your customers can stay well informed about the loan repayments, thus avoiding late charges. It also helps keeping your customers posted about investor funds deposits or withdrawals using the e-mail templates provided by Cloud Lending Inc.

Notifications are sent when the relevant jobs are run. This can be scheduled, giving you the flexibility of notifying at a time of your convenience or on a weekly or a monthly basis. The SMS text can also be customized during the configuration of the notifications.

Making the most out of Notifications

Notifications gives your business the flexibility to engage with your customers and investors via SMS or E-mail or both. You can also have the following configurations based on your business needs:

  1. Set the limit on the number of SMS’s sent per day.
  2. Set the Twilio long code or Twilio short code from which the notifications would be sent. The Twilio short codes enable you to send SMSs at 30 messages per second, whereas with a Twilio long code you can send 1 message per second. This setting is particularly useful when you have to send messages to several users at a pre-determined time.

Will Notifications power your business?
